“San Antonio boutique hotel is a luxury retreat in Santorini with an unrivaled sea view of the azure Aegean Sea and the volcanic Caldera…” according to their website…but unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to experience it!

San Antonio is a distinctively impressive luxury 5 star hotel with Caldera view in the narrowest point of Santorini in Greece. A rough diamond generously polished resting on a natural volcanic plateau in the picturesque village of Imerovigli and near the Unesco Heritage Village of Oia.  San Antonio 5 star boutique hotel is a luxury retreat in Santorini with an unrivalled sea view of the azure Aegean Sea and the volcanic Caldera. Nestled in Santorini’s delicate neck in the popular village of Imerovigli, this inimitable 5 star boutique hotel in Santorini Greece offers sublime luxury in the most intense natural surroundings.

Do you work in hotels, do you know when your hotel is fully booked, and could you possibly know when to stop booking?

That's what San Antonio hasn’t learned! After booking two deluxe rooms for the price of €1300, and receiving confirmation, which we of course printed out, we arrived at San Antonio where the manager informed us that there was no booking and that she would transfer us to another place, as though it was as simple as that!

After four hours of plane, we reached Santorini for our “dream vacation,” and that’s exactly what we didn’t get, all we got was the uncomforting expression: "Don't worry, the hotel is overbooked, but we will manage to find you rooms in one of the island's other hotels. "

Is that acceptable?
