A seafood lover’s delight, Fuor D’Acqua meets my high standard. Here’s a place you should try at least once in your life. In the hearth of the historical town of Florence at a few steps from Porta San Frediano, there is the Fuor d'Acqua: real flavour of see in the old tradition of Florence. Open in 2000 inside an old warehouse of chariots, the place has been restructured with respect of the original features of the tuscan architecture.
This is the best fish restaurant I have ever been to. With its well kept Tuscan architecture, Fuor D’Acqua is situated in the heart of historical town of Florence. The whole ambiance oozes culture and to be honest very rich flavor.
Let's start with the waiters; they really meet high standards as they’ve completely memorized the menu, and they know what to recommend according to your preferences.
Every day you have a special fish served, divided into different portions, starting with the Fish Salad, moving to the Fish Spaghetti and finally topping off the meal with a huge plate of Shell-Fish. Additionally, the variety of wines, which are mostly Italian, is exceptional.
The excellent quality of the fish that arrives every day from the fish market in Viareggio, skilfully cooked and served with expertise and ability in a simple, friendly and merry feel, butelegant at the same time, are the essential elements that have determined the success of the restaurant.
We had one of the most sumptuous meals ever, yes ever. It is so fresh, so tasty, so unique. I wouldn't be able to describe the awesome experience.
