Al Mandaloun Cafe welcomes you anytime of the day.

Fancy a good breakfast? Walk into Al Mandaloun, grab a huge white plate, fill it with the yummiest and freshest breakfast variety and sit on one of their comfortable chairs to enjoy the trendiest cafe in town.

As you walk into Al Mandaloun Cafe on a sunny morning, all your sense are awaken. A colourful breakfast buffet is displayed between 8 30am and 12pm daily with a choice of coffee, tea or freshly squeezed juices. The open buffet serves a variety of items that you are lost with choices. But worry not, as you can go back for more.

Start with savory items followed by sweet bites.

The bar includes fresh baskets of different types of bread, several kinds of cereals, fresh vegetables like cherry tomatoes, mint, cucumbers... a variety of cold cuts freshly displayed, variety of jams, boiled eggs, mini manakeesh, toast bread with cream spread, toasted bread with omelet croissants - even ones with nutella...  fresh seasonal fruits like melon cut perfectly for easy bites... labneh of all kinds, light and full fat, cheese, fresh juices... jars of different types of thyme... olives...

I loved:

- The Lebanese Labneh and Cheese jars. - The wooden presentation plate of french cheese and hams - The wide choice of fresh seasonal fruits - The tasty crunchy croissants - their Nutella Croissant is to die for - I also liked the idea of toasted bread covered with melted Emmental cheese mixed with mushrooms.

The open Bar is for LBP 25,000 which includes one hot drink like hot chocolate, tea or latte - which I think is reasonable and extra charge is added if you ask for fried eggs, scrambled eggs or omelet, which I recommend.

If you have a some time to spare and want to start your day on a positive note, go to Mandaloun Cafe, Dbayeh to enjoy their five stars breakfast that reminded me of many of the hotels I visited around Europe.
