Ralph Lauren Cafe: My Dream Corner in London!
Casual Dining Coffee Talk

In January of this year, I published the news about the Ralph Lauren Cafe opening in London. A few months later I actually visited this cafe with a big smile on my face!

In January, I wrote:

London now enjoys a new Ralph Lauren cafe. Following the success of the New York café, Ralph Lauren spreads its brand 'Ralph’s Coffee and Bar' next to the Polo European flagship store on Regent Street in London. This will be the fourth dining venture from the brand which already has cafes in New York, Chicago and Paris. Lauren called the space a “natural extension of the heritage of Polo, that will add yet another dimension to the worlds we create.” The new space draws inspiration from both The Polo Bar and Ralph’s Coffee in Manhattan, with an equestrian theme demonstrated by saddle leather banquettes, a brass-topped bar and dark wood paneling, green billiard cloth covered walls and equestrian-themed artwork.

The space is small having tables for 24 guests with an additional 12 seats at the bar. The menu offers breakfast all day, coffee, cocktails, light meals - classics and salads, soups, sandwiches, shared plates and snacks like fried olives and mixed nuts.

What a place... I felt transported the minute I set foot inside this small room, a room of finesse and class, a private space you won't even find on Google. Next to the clothes shop is a room - one single room - with walls covered in green, posters, a floor covered with parquet, dimmed yellow lights... and that Ralph Lauren universe of class - the scent, the mood, the people.

I had a beer to start: a black IPA, Otley 10 Oxymoron.

I loved its aromas and intensity. A club sandwich followed, three layers of bread stuffed with mashed avocado, grilled bacon, tomatoes and thin slices of chicken. It has something so addictive inside, enjoyable pepper and spices with fresh vegetables. Yummy: an excellent chewy fresh bagel with fresh sour cream and excellent salmon.

PS: make sure to visit the restrooms. A wide space covered with green tiles and decorated with fresh roses and a scented candle. Every detail counts at Ralph's...

Feel unique at Ralph's - a space with no signboards only visited by a closed circle - a superb bar... my kind of enjoyment, my kind of heaven, my place, my dream corner. Enjoy the photos and make sure to give Ralph's a try next time you're in London.
