My Second Time at Eataly Dubai: I Love this Place!

This is my second time at Eataly Dubai, but probably my tenth time at one of the many Eataly branches around the world. Every time my experience is unique and enjoyable. Having dinner in a supermarket is new and Eataly has definitely managed to make it fun. Luxurious, white walls, high ceilings, open kitchens and fresh aromas... you're transported to Italy and back.

The food is better than I remember, the service is still as professional as it has always been and the prices are reasonable for premium Italian quality. The quality of ingredients is what makes this place unique.

A special menu for the month and another one with a load of choices, you can't fail to enjoy a risotto dish, a pasta and a pizza. Tonight's experience was enjoyable.

• Pizza Leggera, a tomato-free pizza made with flour and linseed, topped with dry ricotta, fresh mozzarella cheese, chia seeds, baby spinach and artichoke. The pizza has improved loads! Thin dough, a fluffy and lightly crunchy crust… while there are no tomatoes, there’s enough juiciness and flavor to impress. The green freshness, the cheese, the superfood add-on and rich artichokes. It’s a delicious pizza!
• Pummarola e Burrata cheese over warm and rich tomato sauce topped with fresh basil; one big burrata cheese cut in half, topped with olive oil and surrounded with tomato sauce. A mouth watering presentation to start, good quality of ingredients, a fresh milky cheese, a warm tangy red sauce but I believe the contrast between the very cold cheese and hot sauce is not too pleasant. It’s a tasty dish but wait until the cheese warms up.
• Risotto Al Funghi, with a selection of mushrooms and parmigiano reggiano. Al dente exactly like it should be, creamy with chunks of mushrooms, parmesan on top if you request it, after note of saltiness... it's as good as it should be, creamy, heavy, satisfying and good.
• Spaghetti alla carbonara e tartufo, the traditional carbonara sauce, smoked veal bacon and preserved black truffles. Al dente but a bit too thick for my taste, creamy and well flavored with a boost of aromas and flavor. Adequately salty, Parmesan sprinkled on top, cubes of meat for texture... it's a good plate for a casual diner down at the mall.

I will be coming back for more; a third visit and even a fourth here at Eataly in Dubai Mall.
