Grandiose like all the other restaurants around the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, La Farine is a contemporary café and bakery spread across different sections and many open kitchens. It's a French café, but it boasts a kind of English style. Wood, black metal, Chesterfield sofas, light green fabrics, a high ceiling, but enchanted with French tunes.

This morning, meeting a friend, we spent three hours at La Farine, talking, drinking and eating while enjoying the fine decor and little details that make this cafe a recommended one.

There’s a menu for breakfast and another for lunch. Breakfast is served until 5pm in this restaurant, which is open 24/7.

Lunch started with a breadbasket, homemade tapenade and butter presented on a wooden board. Coffee is carefully crafted here, the cappuccino was so tasty. Cozy and relaxing, this restaurant is up to European standards.

Although I ordered the eggs Benedict, I got something else. But I was happy with what I received. Oh my goodness! I've never seen eggs presented that way, and I've never enjoyed eggs that much. A large half moon egg preparation looking like an empanada, a pure yellow color, super soft and moist eggs filled with diced vegetables. Yellow eggs and a mix of colorful ingredients served with cherry tomatoes and brioche bread on the side. Omelette like you've never seen it before.

The sandwich followed - or the tartine to be more specific. A thick and crunchy slice of pain de campagne topped win a mountain of meat slices marinated in their sauce and topped with frizé lettuce. Horseradish gives it it's strong flavor. Served cold and super tender, this is a sandwich I recommend. A generous portion and great taste; bravo!

Back to the place, this big beautifully decorated place with lights and fine materials, a cake display and cake shop, a tea parlor and big seating area is a place to check out.

I loved it and enjoyed it, staying at the hotel or not, it's a recommendation for food or a simple meeting.
