The Hilton Charles de Gaulle is one of the two hotels in or very close to the terminal. The Sheraton can be accessed from Terminal E, as for the Hilton, it's 2 minutes away from the train station connecting the three terminals together. I was here five years ago and it was time for an update.
A big building and a huge atrium, the Hilton CDG has many advantages you want to look into when booking your next trip by the airport. The rooms are big and relaxing, the bathroom has a shower and bathtub and the hotel has a bar and all day dining restaurant next to the reception.
With a view of the tarmac, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset as well as the planes' activity. During his stay, I tried their dinner and breakfast.
For in-room dining, I expected, or was craving, a club sandwich which isn't on the menu - bizarre for an international hotel! So I had the burger and pizza. A good looking thick and generous burger with a juicy meat needs a bit more sauce which I added at my convenience. The fries are delicious, crunchy with a tender heart. As for the pizza, a very commercial feeling, an unpleasant thickness, an extreme chewiness, a lack of crunchiness with a need for sauce and melted cheese; I ate because I was hungry!
Breakfast has some nice things. I had it ordered to the room for an additional €6. Richly buttery, flaky croissants, a fresh fruit salad, two slices of baguette bread, butter, jam, a coffee pot for four cups, yogurt, a glass of milk and another of orange juice. An enjoyable refreshment before a morning flight.
The room has a mini bar, a coffee machine, robe and slippers, the needed amenities, a large television with hundreds of channels as well as a working desk. Internet is charged at €25.
Last time I had a pleasant experience and this time as well.
