Other than their cakes, cookies and everything sweet, Cakes&Bites specialty is preparing individual cake portions cooked in jars and immediately enjoyed with a spoon. With that you can order cream cheese frosting, which is freshly added before devouring this preparation.
My latest tasty discoveries:
- Carrot Cake: Filled in a jar, the cake looks fresh, aromatic and glowing from the purity of its ingredients. With fresh shredded carrots and crunchy walnuts, this cake is tasty and orange in color. Lightly sweet, spices, juice... A must try if you’re into carrot cakes.
- Chocolate fondant cake: A jar filled with chocolate baked cake baked, spongy envelope around a moist juicy chocolate molten heart. Lightly sweet, rich in chocolate and not acidic, this cake reminded me of my dad's aunt Hoda who made cakes similar to this and were enjoyed by everyone. Plunge in with your spoon and lay this awesome chocolate creation on your tongue, press it up your palate and let it melt. Yummy! This jar is worth being part of our NoGarlicNoOnions box.
The best part is that these cakes don't need refrigeration Covered and protected inside the jar, the cakes are well preserved. I left them for a week and they still taste as good as day did day one: same freshness and moisture.
