ZAROOB TO SERVE WORLD’S FIRST IMPOSSIBLE™ SHAWARMA

Taking UAE’s sustainability initiative forward, Zaroob is the first to serve Impossible Beef made from plants, offering three different varieties.

Popular Levantine street food eatery, Zaroob, is launching the world’s first shawarma made with Impossible Beef Made From Plants. With three different varieties available, guests can experience the same fresh flavours, textures and aromas of the most in-demand Levantine street food with zero guilt and all the nutrition. Offered at the same price as its beef shawarma options, the new menu of shawarmas officially launches tomorrow at all Zaroob outlets across UAE.

California-based Impossible Foods makes delicious meat from plants that tastes just as good as meat from animals. The company’s flagship product, the versatile and delicious Impossible Beef, launched in the UAE last year. Now, the shawarma experts at Levantine have created the Impossible™ Shawarma, made with Impossible Beef and now exclusively available at the famous Levantine street food restaurant. While serving nutritious, planet-friendly products is at the forefront of Zaroob’s mission, affordability is an important element of this venture, too. Indulging in street food is an important component of living in an urban metropolis like Dubai, and Zaroob saw the need to create a range of pocket-friendly and plant-based options for uncompromising street food.

Especially tailored for those wishing to indulge in mouth-watering flavours while cutting back on meat from animals, the restaurant’s newly launched special offering is sure to surpass every meat-eater’s expectations. The Impossible Shawarma is available in three different forms - a choice in Arabic bread (AED14); Saj bread (AED16); or a shawarma platter (AED36) - and promises to deliver bursting flavours never experienced before.

Whether you prefer Arabic bread, Shawarma saj or wrap platter, Zaroob has got every palate covered as it is set on bringing the Impossible Shawarma in all its glory. All the items are 100% vegan, from the bread to the tarator sauce.
