Yummy Treats to Celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee!

The Union Jack is everywhere and every one is celebrating  Queen Elizabeth's II 60 Years on the throne - 1952- 2012 - Diamond Jubilee. NGNO wanted to celebrate this occasion as well... it as well taking you down the exclusive food, chocolates and more that have designed and released especially for this occasion. They are many but I am highlighting a few of my favorites...

Ladurée Macarons

Irresistible macarons from Paris' Ladurée have been repackaged with a Union Jack in celebration of the anniversary. Find them in-store at Ladurée in London, Paris and New York.

Twinnings Tea

This blend of exclusive Twinnings has been developed to commemorate an amazing 60 years on the Throne for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. You’ll find 3 different caddies, all equally as beautiful as the other and each filled with this delicious loose Commemorative Blend tea.

Beans Mean Heritage

An essential part of the full English breakfast, Heinz Baked Beans reached back into their vault to restore 60-year-old packaging in honor of the Queen's inaugural year.

Cadbury

Cadbury Dairy Milk is celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012 with a special limited edition commemorative pack. The limited edition design plays on the famous brand's long heritage, featuring elements from the pack that was in-market in 1952 when the Queen ascended to the throne. Beautifully presented, it makes a special memento of the Diamond Jubilee.

Mars: M&M'sMars, Twix, Bounty and Snickers

American confectionary company Mars is allows you to indulge in these patriotic chocolate treats that are also celebrate the jubilee..  

 

Kit-Kat

Kit Kat by Nestle, has been renamed Brit Kat on union flag packs...  

Kellogg's

Kellogg's cereal packaging has also turned the clock back 60 years to mark the Jubilee with packaging and drawings dating back to that time.

Tabasco

Tabasco has released a limited edition Diamond Jubilee pack - with a promotion giving away a one-carat diamond prize worth over $30,000. The winner can choose if it's set as a ring or diamond earrings. Only 600,000 of this special limited edition pack have been produced and available in leading supermarkets during May and June 2012.
