Movie night just got boozier. NYC-based artisan popcorn maker Populence has teamed up with New Zealand winemaker Kim Crawford to spike their popcorn with a wine-infused recipe - no corkscrew necessary.
The grape-filled batch comes in two tarty flavors: Pinot Noir Drizzle and Sauvignon Blanc Kettle. Though the buzz-worthy snack is fine on its own, it is best enjoyed when paired with the wine it's made with - Kim Crawford's Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc or Marlborough Pinot Noir. Populence website: The fermented flavor is "bright and zesty and pairs beautifully with the wine, just as it is meant to be enjoyed." The sweet-and-salty snack is popped onsite at Populence's Greenwich Village location with organic GMO-free popcorn kernels. Though you can't get drunk off the class-act snack, the flavor is intoxicating enough.
