Waw! That’s the first impression! The place is simply awesome! Red, lots of red, walls were shining red... it’s really cool! A concept inspired by the American culture serves locally sourced organic ketchup and German beef stuffed in a homemade bun: good quality meat, special non-commercial buns, fresh vegetables, and excellent fries. I was happy to spot this restaurant by pure coincidence on google maps while searching for a place to eat at walking distance from the hotel.
Order at the counter and wait for your order to be delivered. Burgers are prepared in the open kitchen in front of desk enchanting you with the music of grilling. Choose your side: the left corner has a place for kids to enjoy their time. I loved the leather sofas, the wooden tables, the metallic chairs, and an abundance of lighting. Take your time to check the posters and portraits, read about the concept and finish your meal with a milkshake inspired by New York’s blacktap.
Coleslaw, organic ketchup served in jars, fresh burgers loaded with vegetables, chili con carne fries... I loved the experience! You can refill ketchup, mayonnaise, and jalapeños as much as you want. Don’t miss the sweet potato fries; they’re awesome!
Eating the patty alone, you will feel the purity: pure ground beef seasoned to perfection. Halal and well done, the burger is safe for all.
The problem: burgers are cold, especially the bun.
My kids adored the milkshakes! Amazingly done giant loaded milkshakes! I believe the photos speak for themselves.
There’s not much to say, enjoy the photos, enjoy the colors and pay this place a visit next time you’re in Frankfurt.
