Do you ever wonder how a certain color would taste? Jeni Britton, owner of ice cream shop Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has created a selection of delightful ice cream flavors that would capture the taste of color.
"Will the color be sweet, sour, or bitter? Maybe tart? What about mossy, toasted, fruity, or comforting? The taste of a color is always in the eye of the beholder. With that in mind, we created the COLORS Collection - six ice creams and frozen yogurts that will inspire you to ask yourself, what does color taste like?"
Jeni used various fruits to create the color and flavor of the ice creams by extracting its juices. For example, the ‘Ultramarine Blue’ flavor is made of wild blueberries, raspberry extract, and pineapple.
