Google led me to VanLeeuwen; the name made me want to try their ice cream. It was 2 degrees outside on a cold winter day but that didn't stop me from trying a generous Christmas ice cream made with local produce and organic eggs.
A glass facade, bright lights, heavy music and lots of wood. The place sells ice cream by the scoop, house sundaes and drinks. Delicious ice cream indeed!
Classic flavors, and vegan flavors as well as house sundaes is what they have. Dark chocolate, Earl Grey tea, espresso, mint chip, cookies and cream, salted caramel and matcha among others.
Exceptionally crunchy waffle cone, fine whipped cream and awesome ice cream. It's that ice cream that feels so good and so fresh. Light but full bodied, intense chocolate flavor, bananas all the way, vanilla with attitude, one of kind salted caramel, natural passion fruit that tastes like the fruit itself and honeycomb which I recommend you try.
I loved this place; I enjoyed their ice cream and their simplicity. The music, on the another hand, was so bad; a recipe for a pounding headache.
