Transavia Lands in Beirut for the First Time

The low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM group will operate service to Beirut, the Lebanese capital from Paris Orly Airport as of September 4, with 3 weekly flights. Therefore, Beirut would be the 5th new destination added for this summer by the company after Tivat, Tangier, Palma de Mallorca and Dakhla. On board, Transavia offers 60,000 seats each year.

 

The Lebanese capital Beirut, considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is a destination at the crossroads of the East and the West. Between sea and mountains, emerges the Lebanese capital Beirut offering splendid landscapes, as well as Pigeon caves, a true symbol of the capital … In this frame, the Chief Commercial Officer of Transavia France Mr. Herve Kozar declared “The opening of this 5th new route is part of our development strategy towards the Mediterranean basin. Transavia will operate service to Beirut from Paris-Orly Airport with 3 weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting September 4, 2017.
