It’s one of those places where you stand in awe in front of a magical decor transporting you into the land of Peter Pan. How great it is to blend colors together into a space that’s authentic and traditional. Yellow lights, colorful bulbs, white spots on the black menu board; the owners have managed to create a masterpiece of art and craft turning a restaurant into an experience.

Grey Dog is where university students come for breakfast and where businessmen pass to feel younger and enjoy a moment of fun. People shouting, youngsters sharing their day, the mood is set by the pound voices of customers while jazz music plays in the background.

At the bar, order and choose a table. There is no table service at Grey Dog. Sit at one of the colorful wooden boards and enjoy the moment. I love it here, the bar, the mood and the decor from which I learned a lot. You don’t need fancy furniture to create an experience!

Breakfast, brunch, sandwiches, bowls and pastas as well as a bakery corner; the menu is varied.

Thinly sliced avocado, smoked salmon and salad with two poached eggs; a simple and fresh plate university students would enjoy. A bowl of granola filled all the way to the top is fulfilling and healthy but needs some sweetness so I added honey to it; bananas, strawberries, berries and yogurt on a bed of homemade granola. The cake is like any cake you can find around town.

Come for the mood, not the food unless you’re here to grab a quick bite or finish a meeting.
