TASTE OF DUBAI Announces a Mouthwatering Line-up of Celebrity Chefs

  • Stars line-up: Atul Kochhar, Jun Tanaka, Tim Anderson, Paolo Pettenuzzo, Jenny Morris Reza Mahammad, Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens and Alfred Prasad, confirmed for Dubai Food Festival’s signature closing event

Food lovers are in for a three-day treat when Taste of Dubai returns as the signature closing event of the Dubai Food Festival from March 10–12, with a mouthwatering line-up of celebrity chefs, fine-dining restaurants and brand new features.

Now in its ninth edition, the city’s favorite food, drink and music festival has confirmed celebrity chefs Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens (who has recently opened his new concept restaurant Pots, Pans and Boards, in Dubai) Alfred Prasad and Atul Kochhar, who have seven Michelin stars between them. Jun Tanaka and Tim Anderson, have also been confirmed as well as the dynamic duo of Reza Mahammad and Jenny Morris, with more names to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Visitors will enjoy a tantalizing taste of the most popular dishes from 20 exclusive fine-dining restaurants in Dubai, including four new eateries: Catch, Atisuto, Bull and Roo and Fratelli La Bufala . Returning favourites include: Gaucho, Sonamu, The Gramercy, Tresind and Royal Orchid.

Brand new for 2016 is an addition where visitors can take on cooking challenges throughout the festival, and where their dishes will be judged by Taste’s star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs, and prizes will won! For visitors looking for a more relaxed day, there will be a new Cheese and Grape tasting feature as well as a DeLonghi Coffee Lounge.

Adding to the vibrant flavor of the festival, the entertainment stage will host an exciting line-up of bands, musicians and DJs. “4THEMUSIC” will once again headline Taste of Dubai due to popular demand, with more international acts to be confirmed.

Taste of Dubai, in association with and taking place as part of the Dubai Food Festival 2016 (25 February – 12 March), returns to the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 March. Taste of Dubai will run from 4pm – 12am on Thursday, 12pm – 12am on Friday and 12pm – 11pm on Saturday.
