It's this famous wooden house known for their winter evenings, raclette and pierrade, the restaurant gathering the youth after long days of skiing. Montagnou it's where my wife and I went out together for the first time, a restaurant which transforms into an oasis for sun seekers and pool enthusiasts during summer days.
Enjoying a beautiful orangey sun, a light wind, no humidity and a cool lounge music it was a business meeting by the pool. Le Montagnou is about the log house, the pool, the grass terrace and the newly built wooden balcony.
We had the Ixsir Grande Reserve: With the wine bottle you're offered a cup of fresh carrots in their lemon juice and another cup of chips. We were also offered a plate of edamame in their ground sea salt. Warm and tender edamame where the salt is really enjoyable.
