Every time I visit this airport I wish KLM has direct flights to Beirut. Schiphol has positive vibes, a great choice of shopping, amazing food choices and is built to impress. Different from other European airports, and in spite of its load of passengers, you feel neither the rush nor the wait.
It starts at the security check where they don’t ask you to remove your shoes or even remove your laptop from the bag. Pass passport control and enjoy a huge terminal spread on thousands of square meters with an attraction around every corner. Mc.Donalds and the food court on the first floor, shopping on ground level with a cafe on every corner.
All kinds of shopping, endless choices of food, an internet corner, a corner for babies, a kids playground, relaxing sofas and much more. Visit the technology shop, you’ll like their choices. Try Hermes, it’s one of my favorite brands. Buy cheese and remember Amsterdam.
