Saj Abou Anthony: Baking Love Since 1994 in Metn
Morning Delights Authentic & Traditional

Jean has been preparing amazing manakish for the last 25 years, and I didn’t know about his bakery. Saj Abou Anthony, open from the early hours of the morning until 1 pm prepares freshly baked manakish. Saj labneh, zaatar, Keshek, Awarma and beyond. Meet Jean Haybe, an accountant that turned out to be a great baker. Since 1994, he bakes with love.

Zaatar, Labneh and Vegetables, a Manouche I will recommend you try. Crispy crunchy and thin like paper, spread with excellent zaatar and fresh labneh. I also ordered one with Keshek, another with labneh and Awarma.

I enjoyed the discussions this man has; driven by passion, happy and satisfied with what life offered him, he has raised four kids.
