Sa7Se7, located in the heart of the Tripoli’s restaurants district is popular among people who enjoy some good American style food in an oriental touched space. Located on the right side of Road 32 towards Allah roundabout, Sa7Se7 offers a wide choice of food and good shisha for those who like.
Leave your car with the valet and walk towards the restaurant. You will enjoy a good first impression as you walk into a dimmed space that’s relaxing, set with wide tables around. Wait to be seated at the terrace.
The terrace hosts three large parasols blocking the day's sunny spells and the night's humidity. While the winter space inside is beautifully decorated and inspired by Starbucks and American diners. A long bar occupies the end of this rectangular space fitted with colorful spas and intimate spaces making you feel like staying at home.
Now for the menu. A huge menu offers everything from crepes to sandwiches and breakfast other than pizzas and pasta with burgers and patters. This is the relaxed oriental lounge of Tripoli with an American menu.
We were approached by the manager who took the order:
- Pizza Quattro Stagioni (tomato sauce, four sections of different flavors, artichoke, turkey, mushrooms and pepperoni). A large pizza with thin dough and crunchy borders, an aromatic pizza with a nice touch on the dough topped with a generous load of ingredients divided into four portions. A quarter has pepperoni, another has artichokes, one has ham and the last mushrooms. Delicious dough with moist ingredients and a rich tomato sauce that's not dry, not sweet and not sour.
- Sa7Se7 cheese steak (beef sirloin, mushrooms, onions, pepper, tomato cream, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, iceberg, lettuce and tomato). Exceptional! I was positively impressed. A super tender soft bun covered with sesame and filled with s load of tender meat with their vegetable add-ons. A very nice sandwich and its melting cheese, spices and flavors. Recommended! The fries are also superb.
- Fettuccini (Parmesan, fresh mushrooms and a creamy sauce). The sauce is good, but the pasta is way over cooked, the way kids like it. I think some people like it that way.
- Pepper steak (pepper sauce, sautéed vegetables and crispy cut fries). A large plate generously filled with a piece of meat, an equilibrated pepper sauce, crunchy fries and some sautéed vegetables prepared to perfection. Beautifully decorated, this plate indeed has tender meat I liked and the sauce is really good.
Out of the four things I tried, three were great. I like this place and would definitely recommend it to friends visiting Tripoli.
