New food concepts keep popping up here and there. One such concept called 'Rice to Riches' serves rice puddings and just that. The name is intriguing, the place is filled with inspirational quotes and jokes all over the walls. But is the concept a successful one?
New York’s first and perhaps the world’s only dessert emporium devoted solely to rice pudding. Nothing else. Just rice pudding. 20+ flavors of it. Flavors that range from intense to subtle to exquisite to intriguing. You name it, Rice to Riches has got it. The greatest collection of rice pudding anywhere.
In my opinion, they are not that great. They are overly sweet, too gooey, over cooked and unappetizing. But people seem to be liking them.
The place is really nice but the food is not something I could manage to eat! It looks like over mashed baby food.
Look at the photos, would you venture to try something like this? I suggest they try our Lebanese version called "Rizz b 7alib" and discover how this creation can become tasty.
Anyway, the place is nice, the concept is interesting to check out but the food is not something I could ever imagine having again.
