Post-Blast for Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs, and Pastries in Lebanon

The Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs and Pastries in Lebanon and Hospitality Services, in collaboration with Apave, have taken the initiative to prepare a preliminary report to estimate the damage incurred by Lebanon's restaurant industry (qualitative and quantitative) as a result of the explosion in Beirut on August 4.

The objective is to create a file that will be shared with the international community and potential donors, within the network of the Syndicate and Hospitality Services. You will find attached a simple application form that you will need to fill if your facility was impacted by the blast. It includes the different aspects that may have impacted by the explosion. Please note that the application form is not extensive and is considered as an overview on the estimation of the losses. All estimations should be made in USD. Some important points: This application form is free of charge.

The Syndicate is participating in the lawsuit against the Lebanese government, which is being filed by the Order of Lawyers. Your file, our findings and data base of damages will form part of this lawsuit. Insurance or official reports (affidavit) are welcome in your application form. It is essential that the information you provide is as accurate as possible to ensure transparency and credibility.

Kindly submit your application and the attachments no later than August 31, 2020 noon to this email: https://forms.gle/1Xt1nbL1vQzzZRpZA
