It’s Eid and it’s hot… how about heading indoors and spend sometime with family at Beirut City Centre and while you're there, treat yourself and your family with some refreshing frozen yogurt at Pinkberry and enjoy the famous Los Angeles nonfat frozen yogurt concept. 2015 is the "Yogurt" year, dozens new concepts have opened and expect others before the end of the year.
Pinkberry offers a tangy, refreshing taste and guilt free treat, made with real nonfat milk and real nonfat yogurt containing calcium, protein, vitamins and minerals and packed live and active yogurt cultures. It misses some lightness if it comes to me but this doesn't stop me from visiting at least once a week.

- The strawberry pomegranate smoothie: milk, fresh strawberries, original frozen yogurt and a concentrate of pomegranate all come in a cup. A cold mix colored in light pink, a firm consistency like a milkshake, strawberry seeds pleasantly traveling around your mouth and the pomegranate acidity at the end. The yogurt adds texture, coldness, strength and body. That's the best of all; the smoothie is even better than Frozen Yogurt at Pinkberry.
- Mint Lemonade: During the Ramadan season, Pinkberry launched a special mint lemonade flavor. Light green in color, this frozen yogurt includes crushed mint where you can feel mint leaves under the palate. Look out for the zesty long lasting end note. It's nice, although too concentrated for my taste…
- Fresh Fruit Parfait: To tell you the truth, I was never tempted to order this one until today. I always feel overwhelmed with the choices of toppings available until I discovered this cup which I recommend you try. Take a moment, look at the colorful cup and believe me you will understand what I mean. It’s a perfect summer remedy. Frozen yogurt in a cup, with toppings including granola, strawberries, pineapples, kiwi and more granola and more frozen yogurt on top. Enjoy the crunch of the granola, the sweetness of the strawberries and the frozen yogurt, which will add some freshness and cold. Expect to pay LBP11, 000.
Whatever your heart desires, there’s something there for you…
My opinion: I find there yogurt to be a bit fatty but surely better than many around town. If I have to combine a Top10 list, Pinkberry comes second. Stay tuned for the list.
