A traditional Greek kitchen, a waitress looking like an owner’s daughter, la mama preparing the plates and people sunbathing on the beach, Paradise is your traditional Greek restaurant with a sand beach on Symi island.
French fries, fried fish, Greek Tarama, tzatziki, and stuffed grapevine leaves landed on the table. Good food, made in the village without setting the expectations high. I was shocked to discover that fish was not cleaned properly and the fries oily and under-fried.
While we watched the waitress puff her cigarette, we head down to the beach for a fifteen minutes jet-ski ride.
It’s an interesting experience on the island of Symi, traditional food with no expectations and soothing vibes on the beach.
