One of my friends on Instagram proposed Midi12 recommending it to be one of the best crepes he had. Touring around Lafayette, I walked to Midi12 for a quick bite. A chocolate crepe and another caramelized apple.

I passed for a quick review; I ended up having three crepes. A sweet craving that I enjoyed so much making me order a third: the goat cheese crepe.

Yummy crepes prepared differently than conventional ones. Wrapped like a sandwich, and covered with chocolate for one and caramelized apples for the other, each of the two crepes is created to amaze. Loaded with flavors and richly aromatic, it’s a pleasure for the mouth and nose. The apple and caramel is my favorite with calvados liqueur and flamed. The dark chocolate with ripe bananas is as good.

Oh, waw! Goat buche cheese, creamy goat cheese and caramelized apple cubes with crunchy walnuts. The crepe is made with buckwheat flour giving its overall taste more power. The balance, the textures, the flavors... I loved it!

Bravo guys for the simplicity, pleasant welcoming, and tasty crepes. Unconventionally wrapped like a sandwich, I enjoyed three of them crepes and promised myself to come again.
