It’s probably one of Las Vegas’ oldest and greatest hotels located at the beginning of the strip. A great hotel hosting several restaurants and vast areas for gambling. It’s an entertainment hub where one can spend several days without feeling bored. The only problem is that this hotel is huge, really huge so walking to your room is a long journey of -at least- a quarter of an hour.
The only disadvantage is that the rooms are old; the hotel which has been built a long time ago hasn’t had its rooms renovated.
The positive: find a handful of restaurants of which L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Morimoto, Johnny Rockets, Häagen-Dazs to name a few.
The negative:
- The rooms are old, way too old for a hotel on the strip. Too big, the hotel is not easy to walk around.
- Too touristic, you’ll end up pushing people to walk around.
- Smoking is allowed in the casino: your clothes will stink as you walk into the lobby.
- Food around the hotel is way below standard.
It’s a hotel to try and an experience to enjoy at least once in a lifetime.
