One of Lebanon’s most elegant, upscale and elite hotels, managed professionally and operated in style, The Kempinski Beirut never seized to amaze me with its luxury feel and finesse. I’ve been here several times already, and grabbing my phone to take photos of the details has become automatic like if it was the first. Calm and serenity, a vast lobby, a central lounge area and a lower floor where food is served. I like the private feel of the place.
Far from the city’s center, the Kempinski’s location doesn’t help it be a gathering point for the local elite crowd; nevertheless, I love coming here for the calm and personalized attention they give me. Tried lunch twice and today, visiting breakfast I felt amazement the minute I walked the wide dining space.
Breakfast at The Kempinski is served at Candelabra, a restaurant with a high ceiling and many glass facades which leave enough light travel around the space. Breakfast with a view of the pool, fresh vibes, soft music, professional service and super wide choice of fantastic choices that will make your heart skip a beat.
Loved it here! Endless choices presented stylishly, transparent boxes, metal structures, bread baskets, fruits and vegetable crates with flower pots to add freshness to your day.
Down at the restaurant, tables are nicely decorated with orange placemats, and Grey colored Bauscher plates, Siom silver cutlery, colored water glasses and green table napkins. After the stairs, walk through the buffet and choose a table, have a seat, a cup of coffee and plan on filling a plate.

My favorite of all: the whole mini eggplant jam stuffed with walnuts. OMG! I enjoyed this little thing more than the innovative plates at breakfast.
Breakfast is served:
I filled up the table with a handful of plates, cheese and cold cuts, bread, and croissants, jams and hummus while the hot preparations arrived. Sunnyside up eggs, two kinds of eggs Benedict, pancakes, and waffles to name a few.
Loved the food; had the eggs Benedict, two poached eggs served on a bed of toasted bread and covered with sauce hollandaise; one version with salmon and another with crispy pork bacon. Sunnyside up, yellow-colored and shiny presented with a touch of simplicity. A soft and fluffy pancake. A crispy waffle with a smooth heart served with Nutella and maple syrup. After that the manager offered me a complimentary plate of avocado and bananas with honey; that’s a yummy plate I’d recommend you ask for.
Allow me to tell you about the croissant: a unique croissant, a hive of air bubbles, a creation few people master, buttery, and light, flaky like it should be without any unpleasant chewiness. That’s a croissant you have to try, the artwork of a master chef.
One of the country’s best breakfast is served at The Kempinski; evidently, on my Top3 list, I’ll come here for my meetings, to enjoy a moment of relaxation, to have some great food and fell the pampering of a five stars hotel.
