When a handful of local and international specialties are prepared in front of your eyes! When each one of the chefs has at least ten years of experience! When food is prepared with passion and love! When the executive chef is Georges Mansour! Expect to be amazed and spend a memorable Sunday with your family and loved ones. With a view on the Mediterranean on this beautiful Sunday of December with Christmas vibes in the air, we arrived at Rojo. Rojo is the hotel’s Mediterranean restaurant with flavors of Lebanon.

I didn’t know where to start, and once I did, I could t stop! Today’s food was excellent, and the choices were like reading an adventure book. The concept is so simple: everything is displayed at the bar -which they don’t like to call a buffet- but more of culinary adventures of food being prepared in front of the customer’s eyes. Ask for a risotto, ravioli, the holiday turkey, or smoked salmon with the tapas bar blending flavors of the east and west.

Back to the restaurant: with its high gloss facades, the restaurant is naturally lit from all sides. A view on the sand beach, a view on the waterfront and a view on the hotel. It’s magical, calm, serene, and professionally managed.

Let’s eat: the turkey is phenomenal! Wow! So juicy, so tender, so richly flavorful! Bravo chef! Excellent meat! Two thumbs up... I was enchanted!

Salmon, beetroot salad, beetroot risotto, cheese potatoes, sausages, and the list goes on and on. Everything I ate was very good and memorable.

And then came dessert; a black crumble of biscuits topped with a cream of dark chocolate. The biscuits crumble, explode into pieces tickling all your taste buds. It’s the season, the season of the New Year’s Eve cake, the famous Mont Blanc.

I enjoyed my lunch, the kids loved the magician experience, and I left happy and satisfied. Plan your next Sunday gathering at Rojo.
