You'll be surprised at Le Galet and in a good way. The seafood is a must-try. Honestly, I didn't expect to eat such a great meal. Le Galet, a new fish restaurant around Tabarja, next to the municipality, is a cozy place directly on the water shores owned by Ziad Akkaoui

The first impression was a bit awkward:

  • It’s a small passage next to old houses, leading you to the restaurant
  • Once there, you discover very nice calm blue colors
  • Decorated by some funky pillows
  • A large aquarium
  • Adequate lighting and nice table ware an a splendid sea view

We ate very well.

No garlic, no onions in all main dishes and that is a sign of perfection:  adding garlic to all dishes masks the real taste of food. All plates are fresh, crunchy when applicable, hot when needed, spicy when asked for, cold when the tradition imposes it. In a couple of words, Le Galet is a cozy place, romantic, away from the trendy crowded restaurants in town, and where the food is delicious.

The staff needs a little bit of professional know-how but that is not a major issue for the moment.
