As the door opens, you're welcome into a marvelous space that's beautifully decorated... You'll find yourself being transported to one of the most visited cities in the world - Paris...think Champs Elysees, Montmartre, the old artists quarter... welcome to Ladurée, a piece of Parisian culture in Beirut.
Located in the heart of Beirut is an old house transformed into a signature cafe designed in Ladurée's signature look known all around be world. Arcades open up on the busy city center, glass chandeliers pend from the ceiling, wood and marble tables fill in the space in a presidential venue decorated with golden lines and mosaic floor.
Open the door and turn right, you'll find a wide display of a hundred colors displaying Ladurée's products on a fridge display where cakes and macarons will make your mouth water.
I enjoyed the violet colors, the garden, the door sign and the luxury this space offers. Coffee, macarons or maybe lunch, it's a place that made me think of of Paris, a city I love.
I'll be back to La Duree located in a nice area, -where you'll also find Elias Saab's Boutique-, the food after the official opening to let you know more about the food, quality and service and more...
