It looks nice and inviting, sofas and wooden chairs, with a TV and a bar, benches all set in warm ambiance, this is a restaurant or cafe called Flatiron Coffee Roasters. although the service is very bad service and it's a bit expensive, they have tasty sandwiches.
Relaxing on the green sofa, I started writing my airport review.
It's a good looking terminal that starts at check-in. You can check-in outside of the airport or move to the counters. Pass security check and go down the stairs to minus one level. A long terminal win a white ceiling is filled with shops.
A beautiful piece of design, the Delta Airlines terminal has lots of shops, a McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, as well as two restaurants, a main bar and the Prunier caviar bar.
Terminal 4 is one of the largest, most spacious terminals in the New York area. More than 30 international and domestic airlines carry millions of passengers annually. Regarded as `The Terminal of Choice', in January 2015 the facility completed a second phase of a major expansion project for Delta Airlines which added additional capacity and state-of-the-art technology. Travelers benefit from a commitment to passenger service.
Huge, it's so big that the same shops repeat themselves again and again with a different display and sometimes a different design. Dozens of food choices, pastry shops, fast food, juices... You name it.
The things I liked:
- The Hershey's and chocolate shop
- Shake Shack is at the airport
- Buffalo Wild Wings seems like a tasty concept
- Jamba Juice is refreshing
I tasted:
Cake Tin makes your mouth water, but their cupcakes are not that good. They're too American, too heavy and lack juiciness and flavor.
Shopping:
Terminal 4's expansive Retail Hall offers a wide range of retail options from chic, upscale boutiques featuring the hottest fashions of Coach, Hugo Boss and Michael Kors to travel brands Tumi and Longchamp. On Terminal 4's A and B concourses shoppers can enjoy a world of duty free fragrance, cosmetics, wines, liquor and tobacco. From convenience stores selling books and sundries, to full-service spas, offerings of world famous chocolates, electronics, leather accessories and gifts, there is something for everyone.
Food:
Passengers traveling through Terminal 4 will find a host of new, world-class eateries. Shake Shack, Blue Smoke on the Road and Uptown Brasserie in Terminal 4. Travelers passing through Terminal 4 can enjoy a world-class wine selection at Le Grand Comptoir, a steak at The Palm Bar and Grille or grab a quick bite at Camden Foods.
JFK terminal 4 is where you'll be landing when arriving from Paris, as well as leaving it onboard Delta for any internal flight.
