New York, Chicago, Beirut, and now Doha... I liked the IHOP comeback and rebranding, making it my favorite fast-food American breakfast. Spending the weekend in Qatar, and before going back home, I stopped for a treat. Loaded pancakes, omelets, and crepes with a bowl of granola.
- Cinn-A-Stack pancakes: a stack of 2 buttermilk pancakes layered with a luscious cinnamon roll filling drizzled with rich cream-cheese icing and finished with whipped topping.
- Cheeseburger omelet: premium beef, hash browns, tomatoes, cheese, topped with ketchup, mustard, and pickles.
- Banana crepes with Nutella: 4 delicate crepes topped with Nutella and freshly sliced bananas.
- Mixed berry granola with vanilla yogurt layered with strawberries and blueberries with honey on the side.
Oh, My Goodness! The food is so good! So really super-duper good! Four very thick pancakes covered with cinnamon frosting and loaded with even more cinnamon. It’s really, really good! The idea of a burger omelet rocks! It looks so rich and so good, offering the taste of a burger without the bread. Nutella crepes to finish, as good as you expect them to be, tender crepes with banana slices and a drizzle of Nutella.
Very thick and very fluffy, the pancakes made me scream! The omelet is something I’ll redo at home soon.
Unexpectedly... I loved it; I really loved it!
