Old and traditional, The Lombardy is part of the preserved historic hotels of America. A small welcome area with two red sofas, a lobby occupying a separate room on the left corner of the building, a restaurant takes the right spot and at the end of the long corridor is the cafe and bar. Simple, the hotel is managed by a gentle staff.
Up in the room, a large room, a small walk-in closet, a small kitchen with a fridge and the large room with a double king size bed and a working desk.
But the place should solve two major issues: The floor, made of wood, is very sensitive and crack under every step. Surely all the neighbors can here you walk around... I could here mine. The second issue is the bed, a very soft bed with very hard and high pillows. I spent the worst two nights of my life.
I would be choosing a more modern hotel next time.
