Located on Level 4, below the reception is the Titanic Piano Bar. I'm sorry to have to say that the architect did tremendous mistakes creating this hotel but anyway, you'll find your way to the restaurant. It was my first time here and the place looks nice.

Titanic is the Piano bar and cigar lounge as well. A bar faces the entrance, a sushi bar and the main dining space that looks like the ballroom of the Titanic ship. One side boasts windows with a view of the sea and the other side has many mini aquariums with live fish inside. The ambiance is warm with touches of blue.

All tables are set with tablecloths and two glasses as well as a set of cutlery and chopsticks. A Sohat glass bottle is already set on every table ready to be opened. The floor is covered with relaxing carpet and the walls are painted in white.

The menu is simple: Salads and appetizers, fish and seafood, poultry and meat and another menu for sushi.

The first impression: Some of the prices are a bit ridiculous, a Sohat water bottle priced at LBP10,000. A local beer costs LBP9,000 and a Corona beer at LBP9,500… the prices are a bit illogical.

A welcoming staff took care of the orders while we sat for a drink.

Lagavulin 16, one my favorite single malts, a cigar and time passed smoothly as I enjoyed some smooth jazz tunes.

Dinner started with warm bread and butter followed by serving the soy sauce and pink ginger. For dinner we had the endives salad. A generous portion of endives salad made of dozens of endive leaves set together in a square plate. Endives, cider balsamic dressing and sliced provolone cheese. It looks nice and tastes good. I loved the salad.

The sushi is not bad. A bit watery for some reason making those rolls float in the plate but the rice is acceptable in taste, the size is proper and the quality of fish is good.

And time passed... We arrived at 7pm and left around 10pm.

It’s a good meeting spot. I'll come back here.
