Honestly, this is the most relaxing place I've been to this morning. Honest Burgers is a large space under a low ceiling filled with high tables on concrete floor. Green is the main color, its a certain light rugged green that's relaxing.
The restaurant has a main dining area as well as another, more intimate, room facing the open kitchen. Music plays in the background, grilling sounds and frying notes filled the air while we waited to be served.
The menu consists of chicken, beef and fritters. So it's one chicken burger and one beef burger for me, and you can add cheese or just keep it honest. The 'Honest' is made up of beef, red onions, relish, smoked bacon, mature cheddar, pickled cucumbers and lettuce.
Water was served while we ordered the drinks. There's a pleasant ambiance, all handled by a young staff.
The burger is good, really good! A super tender bun filled with a juicy patty, shredded lettuce that adds a subtle crunch without being unpleasant, a light crunch and the acidity the pickles add and this amazing melted cheddar. This is the best burger among the three we had this morning. The bun is better than all the rest, the meat is juicy and rich and the add-ons are perfectly equilibrated for an enjoyable experience. It has also a certain enjoyable smokiness to it.
Different from the other two burgers, it comes with fries, crunchy and intense rosemary salted chips, fried with their skin.
I like this place and will put it on the list of my favorite burgers in London.
