While in Dubai, some friends wanted to show us one of their latest attractions, the Citywalk. Very nice indeed and super fresh, Citywalk is an exciting 25,000m² luxury retail development with landscaped recreation spaces and lakes, entertainment and dining facilities.
We walked around and enjoyed the clean and crisp new setup. We stopped for a bite at Hollywood Burger. I seriously didn't like this place. The burgers are tasteless and the fries are so oily and soggy - nothing you would expect to enjoy at a fast food burger joint.
On their site they say, "Hollywood Burger promises great food and fast service with a Hollywood smile!" I didn't feel it.
Maybe it was just me, but I was not impressed at all.
The space at Hollywood Burger is interesting, wide and modern. They have a special merchandise section, a few details that reflect the Hollywood feel. The palm trees on the packaging and the stars on floor tiles...
But I am sorry to say, I had one of the worst burger meals in a while. I was upset simply because I ate all the calories for nothing. I don't understand what the hype is all about...
We complained about the fries and they nicely served us another batch. Sadly they were just as bad. I am not sure what the problem was but maybe they need to change the oil?
Who eats a burger and leaves hungry... Well I did...
