Yes, you can now enjoy and experience Frooza everyday in Mar Mikhael. This new ice cream concept is inspired by the street food markets of Asia and is a concept that was first introduced at "Souk el Akel" more than a year ago by Elias and Lea. Frooza just opened a pop up shop for the upcoming season on the road facing Trainstation's lower entrance.
"Frooza is the word combination of frozen and Booza and its Lebanon’s first live fried Booza concept using a -30°C Ice-Pan to make customized Booza right in front of the clients. Frooza offers an experience that brings upbeat, addictive and unique flavorful Booza, we promise all Booza Lovers out there an entirely original, twisted and flavorful Booza experience."
Frooza's new place decorated in red and white is small... red pipes, white ceramic wall tiles and typically colorful Lebanese floor tiles. Walk in and start your Frooza experience.
Choose a base flavor, add some fruits and decorate with more flavors. The idea may be simple but watching how the ice cream is made fresh in front of your eyes is soothing and enjoyable.
Elias works on his platform, mixing all the different ingredients together and waits for them to cool and transform into ice cream.
Tonight, I had a blend of several flavors starting with strawberries, bananas, baileys, Oreo, Nutella, chocolate cookies and whipped cream. I believe the photos speak for themselves. After enjoying the photos, head down to Frooza and enjoy their innovative creations!
My advice: Ask for some bananas inside the roll, it's simply amazing. Ask for extra Nutella and try the cookie sandwich or the crepe.
Mabrouk Frooza!
