Artist Cristiam Ramos, uses edible ingredients – mainly gummy bears, licorice, M&Ms, and peppermints; he does also incorporate copious amounts of hot glue gun glue.
The artist has sold his work for around $18,000 for his Warhol-esque pieces. The sugary medium proves ripe for interpretation and analysis. Clearly, there is a connection between the sweet, digestible nature of the candy and the personas of these hyper-popular entertainers.
