Feuillantine, Maison Des Delices, is one of my favorite new places, located in Sarba area of Lebanon. This is definitely one of Lebanon's best hidden secrets which has not been discovered yet by many. Feuillantine is a small pastry shop that has been known for its delicious cakes with just two tables perfectly set with high-end silver ware available catering to some friends and the few people who know about it. I am one of the lucky few who have tried and adored their tasty home-made delicatessens.
Whatever you want they have, just spill your heart's desire when you call to book. The owners are always there to serve you and make sure you leave with a smile on your face.
From French to Lebanese dishes as well as ready cold cuts, Feuillantine definitely makes sure that we enjoy the tasty food they offer alongside low cost choices of wines.
I have tried their:
- Kebbe with nuts, meat, grenadine melasis: that is a wow!
- The fresh smoked tuna.
- The cheese wraps, specially made with sugar powder.
- Fried beef samosa : Meat and curry fried with a sweet touch.
- The buffet of cold Lebanese mezze
- Their stuffed vine leaves, fasoulia, hindbi, loubieh, artichoke, bemyieh and others.
We asked that day to have a beef filet prepared, with its fried potato cubes and their delicious Gratin Dauphinois; It was delicious. Carefully prepared with a personal touch.
For desserts, choose any cake from their kitchen, or enjoy a couple of scoops of the famous Oslo ice-cream.
They are now working on the upper floor which hopefully will accommodate more people soon.
