Collectively they express the project’s interpretation of “wa” - Japanese for harmony - and showcases 400 years of Arita tradition and innovation. The design also represents an effort by the potters to define the aesthetic and practices of Arita porcelain that keeps Arita porcelain relevant to the times and to the world.
