Angelina, the most famous tearoom boutique from Paris is set to open this November in Dubai Mall’s prestigious Fashion Avenue. The concept which was born in 1903 brings together classic Parisian Tearoom and a boutique.
Created by Antoine Rumpelmayer the Rue de Rivoli location rapidly grew to fame, becoming one of the most sought-after destinations of the Parisian aristocracy. In its time Angelina has played host to an extensive list of high profile celebrities including none other than Coco Chanel, who would always be seated at table #10 and was reportedly a daily customer enjoying their signature hot chocolate. Today this table remains and Angelina is still very much the place to be seen. The luxurious and intimate atmosphere of Angelina perfectly embodies the aesthetics and refinement of France in the early twentieth century, with its cozy and welcoming interiors. Angelina serves a range of bespoke pastries, macarons and chocolates along with a wide range of teas.
Their most iconic signature dishes are : the ‘Mont- Blanc’, a delicious cake made up of meringue, light whipped cream and chestnut cream vermicelle and their famous ‘Chocolat Chaud L’Africain’, rich, old-fashioned hot chocolate together with a small pot of whipped cream. Along with their sweet bites you can also enjoy a selection of snacks, large salads and mains including their ‘Tartare De Boeuf Au Couteau Facon Angelina’ Hand Cut Beef Tartar, ‘Filet De Bar’ Fillet of Seabass or ‘Ravioli A La Truffle’ Truffle Ravioli.
