Well, how can I resume a huge success story in a few paragraphs?

Haven't we all been at some point to Down Town Kaslik? And still do on a regular basis. It started back in 1985, the same location - which has survived up until today. Down Town has an amazingly simple concept that proves to be successful. Keep things simple. Down Town offers an international cuisine without pretension whatsoever all set in a cozy atmosphere that calls you to come back again and again. For its regulars, Down Town is like their home, a place to have good food catering to different tastes with a pleasant service. It's a place we love to love to go back to on a regular basis.

Amazingly enough, their waiters are the same ones from the 80's which gives you a homey feeling! They know the names and favorite dishes of their regulars - and when I say regular clients I guarantee. Ever since I was old enough to have a Coke Light, I drink it in a large beer glass with ice and a slice of lemon; I can assure you that even before I’m seated, my glass is awaiting me next to their famous pop corn on my table! Not to forget their friendly but still professional attitude with their old AND new guests. Now about the food, it' s a great mix of the best you can find in each cuisine. i.e Chich Taouk from our local cuisine, sushi from the Japanese, pasta and pizza from the Italian, frogs and mussels from the French and not to forget everyone' s favorite salad bar.

I would advice you for starters the shrimp dumplings, the Duo Japonais that is composed of a double bowl of salmon sashimi and crab filaments or the Salmon Pizza to share. As for the main dish, depending on your mood of course, I would suggest their sushi selection especially the crispy maki variety or their Penne Arabiatta as well as their Breaded Veal Escalope. Finally for desserts they have an exquisite frozen Chocolate Truffle if not you can choose from their daily dessert tray.

I think I've eaten at Down Town even more than I have at home and I honestly never had the slightest bad experience. So if you want to be safe and have a pleasant meal in an informal ambiance Down Town would be your place to go.
