Do Forni offers the best Tattoria that I’ve ever eaten. Its taste is reminiscent of what I imagine an Italian grandmother would create. Simply delicious. Don't miss this trattoria.
DO FORNI restaurant is located in the historical heart of Venice, in a tangle of calli (the venetian word for narrow roads) a few meters from Piazza San Marco and in the proximity of the most exclusive hotels of the city. It is one of the most popular, lively and representative meeting places of Venice. Old and typical ambiance, the decoration is sweet and reminds you of the old Venice that you can catch a glimpse of in aged photographs and postcards. It's warm with a cozy lighting. I ordered Eligio's fresh Taglionlini with Scampi and Asparagus tips and then the Tiziano Risotto with estuary vegetables. They are also known to cook many live stations. I recommend them; the taste and presentation were outstanding.
