Meet the only hotel in the world with 15 themed caravans, 2 VW minibuses, 2 U.S. Airstreams as well as 2 original night sleepers which transforms a former warehouse into a landscape of fun, leisure and adventure. An amazingly unique place to sleep and relax, the Hostel in Bonn is an ideal BaseCamp for discovering the former German capital, the region (Cologne, Koenigswinter) as well as the nearby natural reserve Siebengebirge and the river Rhine.
The vehicles and trains are housed in and around a former warehouse which transform it into a unique indoor caravan park. A spacious balcony above the sleeping quarters provides a nice view of the variety of caravans and provides space for dining, socializing, or events.
Sanitary facilities are always near and available. Breakfast is always included as well as towels, bed linen and sheets. They have a nice outdoor area with BBQ as well as sport facilities and rest areas. Food is available from a food truck based just outside the hostel, and drinks and snacks are also sold inside. Wi-Fi is free and available around the whole area, the reception is staffed 24/7.
The prices range between 22€ and 27€ for a bed in one of the train cabins and between 31 € and 38 € in one of the caravans. The U.S. Airstreams – our presidential suite – is priced at 64 € per person. Custom tours are offered and lead to the most popular attractions, but also showcase unusual sights in the region.
