Meeting local people in their living area, far from tourists … There is a definite homey feel to the Café Royal; it’s a better choice for a casual meal with close friends and family than a professional get-together. This is a nice and cozy place, with dimmed lights, wooden benches and chairs. I would even go as far as to say it looks a bit like an Irish tavern.  But, pay attention — waiters are harsh:  they don’t smile and they come off a bit cold.  Also, they’re a bit slow. Cafe Royal it's located inside the touristic walking area of Prague making it the adequate place for a quick lunch where you can meet nationalities of all kinds. Anyways, we had the CHICKEN AND VEGATABLES RISOTTO, the FARFALLE CHICKEN SPINACH AND CHEESE, and the FRIEND CHEESE EIDAM. The RISOTTO is very tasty but looks more like a Chinese sticky rice dish with vegetables, not an Italian risotto. The fried cheese is good with no inventions and farfalle is fair.
