It's a place that sells cheesecakes, 27 of them, displayed at the counter but C27 is much more than that. It's a cafe where the decor will awaken your curiosity and the artist in you. You can't but walk all around to discover every corner.
Three stories of a building made of concrete and left as is. Inside are thick metallic columns painted in black and art pieces each left in a corner to add a touch of enjoyment. Golden lanterns, balloons hang from the ceiling, relaxing leather sofas, designer wooden and metallic chairs, big signs and sculptures, the fork and knife at the entrance as a signature and much more.
A beautiful music plays in the background in this trendy space where a young generation comes to play, study, eat or meat. Every room is different and unique.
I loved he place before reaching the tasting part. C27 is recommended.
- Green tea cheesecake: Not your usual cake. Harder than conventional cheesecakes, condensed and full bodied, green tea color, cream on top and a layer of sponge cake at the bottom. An experience that needs a couple of minutes to be understood. It starts with a hard texture then the sweetness appears followed by green tea and it lasts.
- Chocolate mint: That's a better one. Cheesecake taste, a spongy bottom, a molten creamy chocolate heart and mint cream on top with a decoration of Oreo cookies.
I'll recommend C27 to all my friends visiting Seoul.
