La Flore, located in the lobby of the Golden Tulip Hotel, El Mechtel is an all day dining experience spot that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoyed their breakfast so I decided to try their dinner buffet as well. Dinner at La Flore was not a bad idea at all - the setting is changed to fit the night ambiance, the choice of food is wide and the taste is up to my expectations.
Enter a cozy restaurant in a candle light ambiance where lovers and businessmen alike will find their adequate territory. The buffet covers an array of Mediterranean specials including Italian, Middle Eastern and Tunisian dishes.
An interesting menu:
- Lamb with vegetables
- Steamed rice
- Butter sautées spaghetti with red sauce
- Grilled potatoes
- Fish and Chips
- Rice and meat with pine nuts
- Grilled chicken
- A choice of eight different mini cakes (Mini tarts, chocolate cakes, mango tarts and banana cake)
- The fruits corner
- Different kinds of bread
- Cold cuts
- Freshly cut vegetables for the salad bar lovers
- Boiled eggs
- Olives
- Cheese
I tasted a bit of everything they had and I can honestly say that they were fresh and tasty, carefully prepared to please the demanding clientele of Al Mechtel Golden Tulip Hotel.
