Bob Marley-Inspired Ice Cream Flavor, “Satisfy My Bowl”

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Bob’s iconic Legend compilation album, the 1Love Foundation has partnered with Ben & Jerry’s to develop and launch a new special-edition ice cream flavor, “Satisfy my Bowl.”

Ben and Jerrys

On the brink of what would have been Bob Marley’s 70th birthday, the socially-conscious ice cream company wanted to pay tribute to a man who dedicated his life to bringing people together through music. “Satisfy My Bowl,” which was named by a Ben & Jerry’s fan, is a concoction of banana ice cream beats, a mashup of caramel and cookie swirls, and a chorus of chocolatey peace signs. What makes this partnership all the sweeter is that proceeds from the special-edition flavor will enable the 1Love Foundation and Partners for Youth Empowerment to empower young people in Jamaica, and continue Bob Marley’s legacy of using music to change the world.

The flavor is set to be launched nearly next month at an event in the UK, The Legend Session, where emerging artists from around the country will be invited to submit their original music for a chance to stir up their own unique versions of Bob Marley’s Legend tracks live on stage.

As of right now, “Satisfy My Soul” will be available across the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
