The first impression wasn’t what I expected until we tasted the food. Meager lights don’t let you see what you’re eating. Air conditioning system throwing unpleasant air on our heads during the entire dining experience. Thunderous music playing in the background for an Italian restaurant. Frozen wine glasses with water inside served for white wine. Anyway... I forgot about all of the above incidents the minute we started eating.
Basta is the Italian restaurant located at Renaissance hotel Dubai. Beautiful hotel lobby, beautiful decor, professional manager, happy and elegant chef, beautiful plates, tasty offerings.
Try the spaghetti, order the penne, make sure to have the Burrata, and the tender meat.
